I was looking at a Rolex Submariner green dial today and brought my IWC to compare.

I prefer the Rolex here. Why? I think it has more cool factor. And I find it more consistent, too.

I agree with you but I prefer the colour of the IWC more - stronger sunburst and more lively green with slightly blueish hues and the Rolex with yellow-ish hues which I do no prefer.

Hence my question whether there are any colour variations throughout the production of the Submariner - perhaps some with less of a yellow hue.
