Hi Nicolas my friend Thankyou for sharing the explorer pictures. Great patina indeed, but I am more looking for your priorities in life... first a no crownguard Sub... also one of my grail watches I have not come to yet.. With or without the Mercedes hand... 

I would like to get a 6538, for the unbelievable strength of its biga case and crown. But all those I see comes with a mat service dial, and those which comes with a laquered gilt dial are way too pricey. So, what to do? Getting a 6538 service dial, OR go...

Nothing is beat a big crown. Find one with a gilt service dial, or go for the Tudor Big Crown ( the are more Rare than the 6538). Ever time you poet it on your wrist, you have the feeling that you are 007;-) (Your Explorer is beautiful, love the cooler) C...  

These Big crowns have an unbelievable look. I saw the 6538 and the 5508, I had the opportunity to put them side by side, and frankly, if I could, I would go for the 6538. The only problem is that if you want a 6538 with a gilt original dial, you have to s...
