A fresh picture of my Rolex Sea-Dweller 16660.
After several years without enjoying it as it deserves, I decided to give more time to the Rolex Sea-Dweller 16660. Not that I didn't like it, far from that, but I was so hooked by some other references that I neglected this one a bit.
How wrong was I!
Ok, the milestone, when it comes to Sea-Dweller certainly is the Double Red, and, should I say, a certain Sea-Dweller Double Red, a thin case, MK II, chocolate, to tell you all...
Still, the 16660 shouldn't be seen as a second choice. It has its own personality, a lot of character, and a big charm.
AND, at the contrary of the Double Red, you can use it in the sea, without worries, with a minimum of precaution, its water resistance checked once a year.
AND you will have best of both worlds: Vintage and modernity.
I rediscovered it... With an intense pleasure.

I agree 100% what you say about the Double Red and the 666, and i agree that we have to appreciate what we have.
