Rolex

When we think of which Rolex are the most Un-Rolex watches, the modern Milgauss comes to mind, as well as the Yacht-Master and the new Air King. I would definitely add the Explorer II, especially with its white dial configuration. It has its own charm and...  

Of course, some may say Daytona Best, Echi ...  

This could be the next one to land in my modest collection... With a white tropic or a brown vintage leather strap maybe?

Underrated, Underachiever, Unsung, Unpopular, Uninteresting and UnRolex. But that’s the charm and allure. Since I have a SS Daytona White, I prefer the black dial on the newer version with the intriguing phantom hands. Maybe one day. Thanks for sharing! ... 

And definitely my favorite Rolex, with the Explorer I. Very understated, practical, tough, versatile. It's the watch I put on when I don't want to think about what watch to wear. ...  

Yes, the way the tritium aged was one of the reasons I bought this watch. Also its general condition, and given the fact that the green sticker was still on 18 years after it was sold, I believe this watch was hardly or never polished, and hardly ever wor... 

I also prefer the Explorer II with nicely patinated indexes. It looks so gorgeous! Cheers! René
