Rolex

all I can say is:

 

I am also not a Rolex fan perse. Never planned to buy this Rolex either. When my brother was going to get married years ago I gave him a white dialed Milgauss on his bachelor party. And everytime I saw it on his wrist since then I thought: that is really a nice looking watch. But you know how watches can look good on someone else so I left it.

Then one day I passed a jewelery store being on a holiday and there it was on display in the window. After three days of passing it walking up and down that street I went in and bought it. This was 2011. It has grown on me and I am starting to appreciate it more and more as time passes by. It is a surprisingly versatile watch and I'm sure that it is all thanks to that green glass.

Come to think of it: why aren't there more watch brands who have played with 'coloured' glass? Independents?

I fully agree with you. The modern Milgauss model is little by little seducing memore and more. I was a bit reluctant to go for it, but a few weeks ago I had one like yours in my hands and...I think that this year will be part of my top list of aquisition...
