Although I love vintage, I have the previous version 16600...

....as my daily beater - a completely care free watch, to do everything in. And it was bought because of my diving, so it had to fulfill a water bourne existance.

And if I was in the position again today, of having to pick a 'does everything / care free watch', I think I would be buying todays version of the SeaDweller.

I had never thought about it before, but the look of that DSSD on the leather nato is awesome. I think I would choose black, personally, but I think that it will be less imposing on the thick-ish leather nato (as shown on your photo), than a thinner fabric. I say this, because by 3H Bund Fifty Fathoms which are also a thick watch, are a bit much on fabric nato, but fantastic on a leather version.

A good choice, enjoy it.

superlatives to describe the DSSD. However, it isn't for everybody but if it works for you, that's all that matters. :) The bracelet does provide an excellent fit, with adjustments, even for smaller wrists. How does it wear with the Nato? Some wrist shots...
