Am I the only person around here who likes this watch...
Not sure what that says about me, and I am not one for bling, but think of the watch in context. To my eyes, the yellow gold and blue ceramic are just about pitch perfect for yachting off the Italian coast and somewhere near Sardinia. The countdown timer at 10 mins locks in an efficient and smart way and the watch probably is for someone with too much money (the yacht would define that).
I like the watch in yellow gold; not so keen on it in white.

I hope most here like a model with MOP dial and rubies, right ? Can this be a property of a gentleman ? It is 40mm - just right size for a sporty luxury watch. It is beautiful. Agree ? Gary.

personally i find the design appealing--but a number of other rolex models more readily quicken my heart...... j

As generations change so do their tastes and styles. And in our economy it's all about supply and demand.
There's a gestalt to Rolex that eludes the YM II . . .
. . . and, in my opinion, the main contributing factor is the constant-running small seconds hand. It just doesn't "fit".
