Rolex

Seems that only Jocke and me are posting pics of the Explorer II ... A Pity, as this watch is a great one, and quite original, for a rolex, as it comes with an unusual White Dial. Does the white dial explain the relative lack of love for this watch? It is...  

... it's very lovely ... putting an explo II around the wrist is always something special ... seems like they're made for my wrist too ... You know Nicolas, i still have the same wrist-size as yours ... if you ever get tired of this Explorer ... PS. I see...

Very pure white dial with black hands...NICE... EASY to see time...GREAT SHOOT... Best Chung

The black circled indexes and the black hands adds a necessary although beautiful contrast to this professional Rolex. Even the white indexes begin to get a light and nice creamy patina. Best, Chung. Nicolas

The Blac Explo II may be gorgeous, if the indexes are nicely patined. It will add some sublime contrast, in this case. But I prefer the white version, maybe because it is less loved... Best, my friend. Nicolas

Considering the fact i don't don Rolexes in this asian country of mine

And these pics are like it reserves. This white Explo is a WATCH that I've loved always. Probably an understanded Rolex, but a really nice one. These white dials, in some models, is a great and nice option. A Next hunt?? Probably, but later than hunt a ni...

...but I find I often overlook it in favor of the GMT II, which I prefer, partially due to the bezel design. Your pictures certainly turn my head though, and show off the clean, pretty, white dial to best effect. Thanks! Daos

Is to remember how hot this watch was, at least in France, at the end of the 90ies, beginning of the ' 2000. Then, once Rolex decided to send more Subs, GMT and Explos to their AD, the Explo II began to suffer a bit. Like you, I'm a big fan of this white ...
