And I believe you hit it straight on -- without the fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet taking your attention away, the focus is solely on the beautiful dial. Not for everyone, but surely works for me.

Love this dial with a smooth bezel. Looks great on both jubilee/oyster bracelets. A most wearable and interesting piece! Enjoy!!
