Daytona 16528 replacement dial

Hi guys, i would like to ask Rolex experts on this subject. Recently I was told that this Daytona 16528 available in the market currently come with either the original dial with "T Swiss Made T" or "Swiss Made". The one with only "Swiss Made" without the "T" is actually replacement dial after the watch had been sent to Rolex centre for service because unrepairable dial damage.

I attached below the photos of the two different dials i'm referring to. Can somebody please help shed light on this one if you know for sure the facts related to this one? Thanks

Normal for the year. Circa 1999 / 2000, the Daytona dials came without T.

If your watch is before 1999 / 2000, yes, it is not its dial.

The T indicates the lume is tritium. When the use of tritium was discontinued new watches and replacement dials were not marked with the T.

However, for a gold Daytona, the value is in the condition of its case. You can always find a tritium dial, but you cannot unpolish a case. Only the early porcelain or inverted 6 dials have a superior value on their own.

I saw this 16528 piece W series with inverted six dial from 1995. Is the dial correct for the model? I read at various places it says inverted six dial is only up to series S, but many reputable places selling pieces from W or later with inverted 6 dials....

I wouldn't look at an inverted 6 dial past 1993 personally.

My thoughts were from 1989 to 1993 for inverted 6 dials. Having said that 1995 not impossible. M.

But I personally would want to see an inverted 6 on an earlier watch so that there is no should this or shouldn’t this. A saying which has served me well over 30 years of watch collecting “ If there is any doubt there is No doubt” M.
