this is the black dial... maybe we can call it black carbon. The white dial has a finish that i cannot grasp, is it a bit chrome or brushed, on some pics it shines. Scary to order a watch without seeing in the flesh, but i am getting at a point where hesitating is tiring me 
The slate grey dial i was talking about is this one. Stunning piece, but i find something missing in the chronos on the dial. They do not contrast well enough. While the white dial has this contrast. Grrrrrrrrrrrr... both are really stunning!!

the dial that I have shown is definitely not black, but darker than the one you have in target. To be honest, the silver one is my favourite. Cheers Jeff
