For Rolex fans, "heavenly patina" - for most others, "damaged dial"
There is a book called "Men are from Mars, women are from Venus"
The watch world version is "Purists are from Mars, vintage Rolex collectors are from Venus"
2 very different worlds.
My eyes have not been affected by the vintage Rolex bug so to me, whether this dial is on this GMT or on a vintage IWC or Heuer, it all looks the same (and to be a gentleman I will simply say to me this is not patina and not a good thing for me).
Love the bezel though, that has a lot of charm

That kind of dial has appeal
and "value" only in Rolex world.... and that's for sure one of many charms that brand has In other brands this dial would be called destroyed Cheers D

But would you hang this on your wall: ? For me a vintage watch has to be in a superior condition to consider buying it. If it is too messed up it looses all its appeal (to me). ...
Of course, a better condition is important, but I guess it all depends on...
