Great story.
I too have been fortunate to strike up a conversation or two with like minded individuals, where “hey, hope you don’t mind me saying it but that’s a cool watch” (or something to that effect) transmuted into a conversation about food, spirits, work, cars, etc.
It doesn’t happen often, but it’s pretty damned cool when it does.
Here’s to more convivial conversations in the year ahead 🍷.
