Thanks for the effort! I've heard of stabalised bronze cases and I wonder if thats the case with this silver alloy. I'm considering getting this piece as its such a nice looking watch due to all the matching tones within the case and dial, I just wonder what the level of tarnish will be over the years?

Great review, I concur on all points the miss on the mass is at odds with what is otherwise a very aesthetically pleasing watch.

I have yet to see this version, although I have the blue version. I especially agree regarding the transparent case back. Just not enough visual interest there despite the functional virtues of the movement. Beautiful colors though, can’t wait to see one ...

I agree on all of your points. I still have to see it in the real life, but I was charmed and intrigued by this watch, this year, which is not the case with many of these other novelties.

Combination eliminates that issue. Nice looking watch though. I like what appears in the photos to be a dull / matt look of the bezel, dial and case. Cheers S

I love the bb58 in all iterations. However, it would be a huge step up if they offered a rubber strap as an option... it is a diving watch after all and during warmer time of the year rubber is perfect on this reference in my opinion...

How heavy is the watch? On the backside, is this an Ag925/Al - which would mean the main part besides Silver would be Aluminium! Which would add to the softness of Silver...

87 grams was the answer, vs 74 grams for the steel bb58 on strap

Which proves my assumption. The other metall in the alloy must be much lighter. Silver alone would mean the case should be over 90 grams
