Dare I say that it is THE classic. I love mine. Would only ever sell it to get a DRSD. Your 1665 looks right at home on that NATO - a true tool watch. Enjoy that patina! V/R Mike

I had a 1999 16600 with a SWISS only dial...only difference between the two is that i would bring the 16600 on aquatic expeditions but not the 1665....

I discussed that with a good friend if mine, recently, and he told me something like " Hey, you never sell your watches so how will you do? Therefore, I don't see you letting go some pieces, so the ten watches you dream about are already in your collectio...

Does your post imply that, even with your CRAZY and INSANELY AWESOME collection, you still don't have your dream watch!?!?! I'm cureious to hear what your dream watch would be my friend! It is always so fun to hear about people's top 10 lists just to see ... 

But a real watch! I have several dream watches, in fact, too many. 1675 Underline Double Swiss, Tudor 7922, Rolex 6154 aka Small Egiziano, 1675 Military are among these dream watches, if we are talking about Rolex watches, only. Best, Nicolas

I stand corrected! Quite a list of dream watches you got there. I have two - a DRSD and a 7924 Big Crown. I know you know about the second one, probably better than anyone else! With those two, I could be content.... alright, fine, I'd take a 6263 if I'm ... 

As for my selection, I would say: Polaris 65 for well known reasons, Tudor 7924, Rolex 6542, UN Freak, UN Sonata, Patek 5110P, JLC DSA, one Fifty Fathoms, Rolex 6610 and.... certainly my JLC MMR. Best, Nicolas
