Hello Joe! May I join the thread with my present everyday Rolex?...
... Though I like to switch my everyday watch a few times each week, one of my most used Rolex is also a "transitional" Submariner, a model 5513 last series (this one was made in 1986) which reunites features from both old and new versions of the inmortal Sub: bombé plexi, nice thin bevel on lugs, and nicely creamy patinated tritum indexes with the more modern WG surrounds. Though I´m very fond of the earlier versions of the Submariner, I don´t dare to risk them with a more active everyday carry so I found this watch a very enjoyable sustitute. Cordial regards, Abel.

I alternate
between a tritium 16600 and a white dial 116400 because after one week of ownership, a brand new Tudor 25500's crown broke cleanly off the stem during a date change.
No pictures.
But you should know what it looks like when the crown comes off the stem when you attempt to put the crown at the time setting position
Why not with a suit? I tried it, it worked quite nicely.
Now, as for my everyday Rolex... Well, most of them I can wear on an everyday basis. I spent 15 days ( !!!) with the 6542! Best, Nicolas

I wear that watch every day and everywhere. Surfing, swimming, the office, dinner, mass, etc. You name it, it is on my wrist. No better Rolex, IMHO. -Mike

... WG circled indexes in my Rolex, but this one I was hooked by the patina in these indexes and the general confition (almost unworn) of this watch. Incidentally, I bought it together with a "cousin" made in same year of 1986 which I feel you´ll like too...
