Help on vintage Rolex
About ~10 years ago, I missed an opportunity on a Rolex Ref 3484 chrono with "Dobbies Ltd Nairobi" signed on the dial (Dobbies was a retailer in Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa). Having been born and raised in Nairobi, this piece always tugged at me. I have not had much luck tracking one like it down. The limited research I have done seems to suggest that there were also Ref 3525 chronos with the "Dobbies Ltd Nairobi" signed dials. Any thoughts from the experts here on these references and any guidance on how to proceed in locating one of these vintage chronos with such a dial signature?

the chap I was thinking of has posted his restored watch today on VRF (Vintage Rolex Forum)!!! Nice old chrono from D's in Nairobi: +3525 VRM is Vintage Rolex Forum and WTB is a Want To Buy post. Cheers Ross :)
