I've tried every combination to make it fit correctly.
Maybe it's because of the hollow end links or maybe my wrist size. Guys with bigger wrist size doesn't seem to have this problem. I have a 6.75 inch wrist and this seems to be a smaller wrist size problem. I've read in other forums of guys taking extreme measures such as removing a permanent link on the 6 o'clock side and adding an extra removeable link on the 12 o'clock side to correct the issue. That seems harsh since you can't restore the bracelet to original state. But I don`t have this issue with 114270...maybe because of solid end links. I've owned a tritium dial and swiss only dial 14270 and same problem. But i'm loving the black leather strap now.

You should be able to fix your bracelet issue
with a friendly watchmaker - he can adjust the link count left or right to make it fit perfectly. It is worth it

I inherited a 1978 Rolex OP Date 1500 several years ago. Had it fully serviced early last year and was going to put it away since i had very little interest in watches. But the wife encouraged me to wear it on Independence Day 2020....our engagement date....
