Rolex

I like it!! I like these crazy looking dials time and elements change for our delight...

 

... but sometimes I ask myself how crazy we collectors and watch fanciers are when we love and enjoy these changes which most of watch users consider a big defect or the result of degradation and corrosion. As a matter of fact I guess that most of these mad looking dials ended in the trash basket of the Official Rolex (or Omega) Service department in their time, changed by brand new dials replaced at no charge most of the time as they were considered them "faulty".

Anyway ... today, be it a fad, or an eccentricity we look after these little marvels we find so charming: tropical, caramel, chocolate, tigers, etc. etc.

Definitively there is a bit of madness in our hobby, isn´t it dear Nicolas?
