After the horror stories about the bezel devastations of the Black Bay Bronze caused by salt water I’m not brave and courageous enough to buy that model. Best, Thomas

This was definitely the reason why I resisted to buy the Bucherer Edition which has in principle a good cost-benefit-relation.

AFAIK the construction is always the same. So the problem might also exist there. Anyway, I don’t want to take the risk of any troubles. Life is too short and there are many many wonderful watches out there working flawlessly without any problems. Quality... 

Since it's galvanic corrosion and they are all constructed the same (bronze case and bezel + aluminum bezel insert). Only the colorways are different.

My '82 MN Tudor Sub is one of my favorites in my entire collection. Definitely an heirloom piece.

and were considered ugly compared to Rolex Subs. They could be had for $2K - $3K. Now like everything else the prices have gone insane.
