I think the term you are looping for with respect to the Luminova issue is "flashy". The blue color almost gives the impression that it is a quartz watch, like a back lite LCD screan. I think the impression is basically due to the fact that we are so used too the traditionnel green Luminova color that the change however good is a little difficult to accept.
My DSSD has the blue color indexes and you get used to it and even enjoy it.

in view that it indicates the second time zone and I prefer the hour marker to be on top of the orange hand and not the other way round. I saw one in the metal on my friend's wrist just 2 weeks ago. Somehow the white dial allows the orange hand to shine. ...
