I'm picking up my "one" Rolex soon. Previously I've owned -Various datejusts -Milgauss -Various submariners ranging from vintage to more modern, but nothing newer than 2010 or so I have come to the conclusion that I definitely want "a" sporty GMT/sub back...

I especially like the silver dial.

Matt brownish dial. 40mm. No cyclops. Extruding crystal like Subs of old. Superb diving credentials. Superb bracelet technically. Very rare compared to anything else modern

My preference is Daytona > GMT > Submariner > OPs but I don't yet own any DDs but if I do, I think it would be 2nd or 3rd place, competing with GMT.

Especially on a jubilee it is so chic. No date sub is a classic yes, but a tad too dull compared to the batgirl. You already have your beater divers, instead of a tool watch, I’d go with the bling option.

I know your stated preference is for a no date. But if you can live with it on the Batgirl, I thought I'd throw these out there for consideration. Both have a pop of color. And IMHO, the Yachtmaster with the blue dial is very underrated/underappreciated.

Go with option one. The color combo is versatile, and if it is not your only watch…but, you can’t go wrong with either.
