As an aside, it goes to show that the SD was not a particularly popular model at the time. The serial number would date it back to circa 1984, but it was sold only 4 years later.

...and I wish it had stayed like that. Would love a 1655 or a 1019, but I have a hard time putting Lange / Patek money in vintage Rolexes.
