1) What made you choose those three? Anything about those three or was it just trying to get some variation within the Roles theme?
- GMT 116710 LN: don't know
- Sub ND 14060: the 5513's big brother + tritium and the dial is so simple compared to the gmt with massive luminescent markers and loads of writing...feels like a Balzac novel.
- Polar Explorer 16570: I fought I needed a little colour + tritium goes so well with the white dial. I also like the idea of polar exploration. I also have Nordic blood so the polar explorer was the appropriate choice.
This bunch comes together quite well I feel.
2) Why Rolex? I am guessing you work in finance....dealing floors are awash with Panerai and AP....why go Rolex?
- The pedigree, the prestige, the history, I also drawn to the style and I like the names of their models.
- I don't work/study finance...biomedical engineering actually.

And congratulations for your very nice Trio. A Sub, an Explo and a GMT, your bases are pretty well covered. I specially like the patina of your 16 570, which developped some nice creamy accents. As for the GMT II C, a watch which is still in my wish list....

i can cope with a little wear and tear on the dial face....
but its that inner movement i want to keep going..... You know, Amanico,....... wrinkle for wrinkle we are both looking like knackered old donkeys!!
