Interesting post!
I was traveling last year and went to an AD and bought a non Rolex piece for my son. I got to receive the business card of the AD. Just recently I emailed the AD that I’ll be traveling to the said place and is inquiring for a specific Rolex piece and the AD mentioned they have some arriving and will call me for the specific Rolex piece once they get them into their inventory.
I guess it’s a mixed situation at different ADs. Let’s hope for the best!

I was with a friend yesterday at my AD and we must have been lucky because there was Submariner LN and LV, GMT Master Batman, Air King, Submariner, Daytona RG bracelet and on oysterflex etc.

My AD has to screen his customers.
Apparently, there are those who buy in US to sell with gray dealers in Asia. One AD had Rolex warn them that the submariner that was sold showed up at a resale site in Asia. So know your customers.

New Rolex policy. No more special order for special customers on hard to get pieces. It’s even harder now. AD must just wait for their allocation.
