Finally decided to pull the trigger on a rubber strap for my BLNR. While I do love the Oyster bracelet, this fitted RubberB strap is really well executed and the color matching is great. I'm still coming to terms with a non-metal bracelet on my Rolex - I'...  

I have thought about buying a Rubber B for my sub. Did you make the change yourself?

I have my own tools, not too difficult with the right spring bar tool. The slot on Rolex end links is rather narrow, requiring a thin fork.

Honestly think it comes down to personal preference. I researched both before purchasing. Both are very well made and roughly the same price. RubberB, to me, is a bit more aesthetically pleasing, as the raised center section eventually evens out whereas o... 

Rubber B is superior in quality not just esthetics. Rubber B makes their bands in the same factory as Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille, Omega and now they produce the OEM bands for Roger Dubuis, honestly there is nothing out there that can match the quality...

Yes, this is possible, but I believe you need to purchase two straps, as they do not seem to sell mixed colors. Take a look here - some folks have posted very similar photos with bezel-matched straps rubberb.com

I think the leather looks aged. Thats why it works in my opinion.
