Here are a couple of shots of my grail watch. It is a 1973 Sea-dweller 1665 made on request of the Sultan of Oman (Said Bin Qaboos) as a gift to those who fought the "Dhofar" war which ended in second half of 1972. Sultan Qaboos is still the ruler of Oman...

Thanks for the background on this Sea-Dweller. After learning of its origins, the watch becomes even more fascinating. The Sultan's name written in Arabic is so visually striking. Paired with the lovely aged ivory color of the lume and you've got a stunni...
