My first post on this site.
I have never posted here yet, but reading your post brought Air Kings to my attention. They are rarely talked about on any watch sites, so here is my story. I have owned an Air King (14000) for over 23 years, and it has been my daily wearer since. It went with me everywhere I have travelled, through many continents and countries, it has swam with me in Pacific and Atlantic oceans, I wear it almost every day including when I am at construction sites. (For quiet days I have a GMT and Daytona). This watch has never failed me. In some ways it is my favorite watch of them all - it was never in the bank vault, it is always in action. One other thing - it was never serviced, therefore it was never polished either - it is totally original, nothing ever touched in it. What a great watch it truly is!
