Rolex

My AD dealer let me take home these watches over the weekend to choose one. The yellow and white gold watches are Day Date 2's and the middle one is day date 1 platinum. Which would you choose and why ? This message has been edited by jeremytcat on 2012-0...  

Of course strictly my two cents worth: Out of these three choices I would go for the white gold day date because it's got that perfect blend of understated elegance. The yellow gold and diamond rolexes are very trendy amongst the ladies these days. I'm no...

I would keep DD2 WG, no blingy as YG. I like platinium but diamonds on a man's watch is not my cup of tea.

Agree, how about a white gold Daytona. There are a lot of very nice dial options. Also top of my list would be the blue dial and ceramic bezel Submariner....  

I think your wg Daytona is beautiful but I have it in steel and don't see a point in having both. Putting the sports models aside which would you choose ?

I'm drawn towards the WG DD2, but there are times that I think I would love to add a YG Rolex to my collection. I'm just not sure how comfortable I would be wearing it in public (too flashy). You are lucky that you can wear each around and see what looks ... 

Casey, I completely agree about adding a YG watch to my collection but also don't know how comfortable i'll be wearing it. As much as I like it I don't think it will get much wrist time. It is a great luxury to have a trust with my AD to take these home a...

Same daydate and Daydate II but different 36mm Daydate (1st choice for me) 41mm (imho better looking than the yellow gold and white dial) Happy shopping. Regards Tyler...
