Am I mistaking or Ranger has 34mm case?! I'm not sure about this particular reference but regular vintage Ranger has smaller case then 1016 (36mm)! It's more in line with vintage Air-king or Precision Rolex, ref.5500 or 1002.
One of the reasons why is less popular besides the fact it's incredibly hard to find all original example. Plus,market is saturated with fake Chinese dials with Ranger in red lettering.

What do you think of the 41mm?
I saw one a few years ago on somebody's wrist.. I think the old ones always had the best proportions but the 41mm wasn't too bad.
