A nice Tudor Submariner 7924.

The dial on this one is just superb. 293 xxx range. I have a huge weakness for these Tudor Big Crowns and their dial. Best, Nicolas ...

That big crown is characteristic.

And the smooth and curvy lugs. Sensual.

Well, the case is a " bit " polished, but the rest is awesome, indeed. [nt]

The curves

On the lugs, crystal and crown all come nicely together, as contrasted with the usual sharp lines on the Rolex lugs, crystal and crown. Very nice and imho goes very well with the patina'ed dial.

many different types of radiation were used....
By: Baron - Mr Red : June 21st, 2017-01:44
.....some with very very short half-life....so completely acceptable that it has no radiation. And a BIG bonus.

Yes, at that time ( 1958 ), there were different materials used... We should try to dig the topic, a bit. [nt]

The Rolex and Tudor Big crowns have a special place in the submariner legacy. Very cool watch. [nt]

I suspect this one never saw a bracelet, as there is no trace of wear between the lugs. Which is typical from a watch issued to the French Marine. [nt]
