Rolex

The Tudor mini Submariner is a great starter what to bring the younger family members into the fold of vintage Rolex. As you can see the watch has all the charm of its older brother. It even has a plexi insert. I don't have too much info on the model but ...  

... the added charm of plexi and beautifuly patinated indexes. I had seen the later model Mini Divers model, with zaphire glass and tritum (or Luminova) indexes, which is not so charming as this one. But never had seen this one you show here. It´s curious... 

It really seems to follow the big brother snowflake model. It has all the vintage appeal in a small package. I will take picture side by side. For now here is the same wrist four years apart. Bill ...  

... a kid is growing there! The watch looks bigger on same wrist four years ago, and looks so nice now on a young man´s wrist! The newer photograph also looks like the bezel is more faded to gray? or just the light playing on it? Looks so nice in that sec... 

The first one is the Tudor mini Submariner. The second is the full size Tudor Snowflake. Indeed the young boy is becoming a young man. I will shoot the two together. Best Bill ...  

... I love the way some old Subs, both Rolex and Tudors, get their bezel faded to gray/ghost! They look terrific I feel. Will look forward to see the pictures together! Kind regards, Abel.

It is interesting that many Tudor Submariners have faded inserts so it could have been a different quality to Rolex inserts. Thanks Bill
