Only have experience with Oyster band (and not VC). But I find them to be the most comfortable metal band of any.

The VC wears properly flat on the wrist and ist softer more flexible.
Not a fan of the oysterflex. It’s not very flexible has these weird wings underneath which leave bite marks on your wrist and the worst part is the rubber band kind of floats as it doesn’t sit snug.
