Questions for the experts... Please Help my hunt...
What letter serial should a Ref 16800 circa 1985 have?
Or letters from 83-86 have?
Also I've seen some advertised as having transitional dials for a bit more, but the dials look the same. What is the difference? And how can you tell if it actually has a transitional dial? As some look exactly the same. And lastly are one's with transitional dials rarer?

The 16800
Was born in 1981with a matte dial and indexes without the white gold surrounding. The serial is then in the early 7 milions. In 1983, the dial is replaced by a "modern" glossy dial which is less sought after. This message has been edited by DrStrong on 20...
