Quick question
I don’t know if some of you remember I posted a note around my datejust 36 lasting for less than a day if not on the wrist.
So I took it back to my AD and they sent it back to Rolex but kept my warranty card. Is that expected? It’s the first time I send it back since I only got it last April.

That is not my experience.....
.....but, I have never had to return a watch that was still within warranty. I am surprised that the AD needed to send it rather than just note that it was in force.
Being focused on vintage I have little experience with new watches but even if I service them, I get a guarantee on that. And I had.....
.....one or two occasions where things failed during the guarantee period. When I returned the watch I had never to hand in my guarantee card. Cheers, HSTE
The way I do it as I've experienced this cases in the past and every AD is fine with it, take a picture of your warrenty card and show it to them. I had a heck of a time getting my warrenty
card back from an Omega AD in town. If you bought the watch from the AD all they need to do Is put up your purchase information and they wouldn't need the card at all.

The lady at the boutique kept it. I did not even do a copy of it...should I run there to get it back ASAP?
Aye go back or call saying you forgot the card, they should only take a copy of your card or photo and leave you with the original, at the most they stamp the original but if they are an AD they should
Input all the info. Into their system the warrenty cards are more a nice packaging thing for us and are barely any use now a days with all the tech.
