Seeing pictures versus the actual piece surely makes a huge difference.
As was the case with the new yellow gold Daytona. After viewing the pictures, other than the fact that it's a Daytona, I didn't think much of it.
Then I walked in to the Waikiki Rolex Boutique looking to see if by chance, they had received the new Sky Dweller or the Deep Sea. No SD yet and the DS was already sold. Then the AD asked if I wanted to see the new Daytona and although I did not have much expectation i walked over to the other showcase. But I was mistaken. The sunburst dial really captures the light well and highlights the Panda look very well.
The Oyster Flex bracelet fits well and is quite comfortable. I did not want to try it on because i was slathered with sun screen but the AD assured me that it wasn't a problem. Still, in consideration of the piece and other potential clients, I cleaned my wrist so as not to leave any trace of sunscreen. After leaving the boutique empty handed I walked back two days later and there, next to YG Daytona was the white gold version. Not as beautiful as the YG, IMHO.
Still waiting on the Sky Dweller but contemplating the Daytona.

It's ok if you typed bracelet for Rolex call is it an Oyster Flex bracelet.
