Ach....what is silly? A sports watch in WG? Maybe. Silly could also be strapping on a 47 mm rose gold dive watch with a depth rating of 50m and going to the office? Do you like it? That's all that counts in the end.

some said that a sports watch in WG is silly, other said that this watch is the very same of a steel sub, so I'm paying a big premium for the blue color. But i dont mind it, they have their opinion and I have mine.

so I think of it as if I've been given carte blanche to get it whenever I want. Hehe. And seeing posts like yours makes me wonder why I haven't. Beautiful watch. Enjoy.

This is a piece, like most of our watches, that yo need to feel and love. If you feel it and that you are madly in love with it, it is not a stupid purchase. I know some good friends and serious collectors who liked it and got it, and they are still madly...

nothing silly at all. The white gold blue sub is the sub! Discreetly luxurious and classy and the blue bezel and dial are to die for. Well you can still do some basic sports with it such as Swimming in the pool or some outdoor activities such as Cycling e... 

IMHO you can do everything / and every activity with this watch. My experience with Rolex gold alloy is that it seems tougher than others and really resistant. So I wouldn\'t handle it too gentle. Just my 2 c. Best, Thomas

i heard Rolex 's gold alloy is a lot more resistant to the elements. Their everose for eg is supposed to always have the pink gold color without copper oxidization A lot of materials engineering there to bond the elements stronger is what some folks have ...

As you said be very understated which I like a lot. If I get another Sub it will be this one for sure. Is the blue bezel the same blue as on the GMT or is it a bit darker..? Awesome group shot too Andy.
