The OPs are indeed very simple/basic watches, with clearly too much hype based only on similarly basic and pastel colored dials. A strange phenomenon indeed. But if taken for the basic, easy to wear pieces that they are (plus a little splash of color), then it is easy to appreciate, without all the fanfare. In my wife’s case, she doesn’t follow all the watch hoopla and will surely beat this one up as a daily beater, which will be nice to see a watch worn normally…although I will cringe and she’d a tear over every little scratch or mark that I may notice in time 😳🤣.

Once she gets this sized to her wrist, I’m expecting this to be a daily wear for her too. At least I’ll be able to see the piece more often compared to if it was mine and only saw periodic wrist wear.👍🏽

Thank you. I’ve always loved pink and purple hues, which I always considered curious.
This particular dial is nice in that while it is a ‘candy pink’, I find it to be subtle and cool. Note, I wouldn’t have a problem with a fuchsia dial, but this pastel dial has a calming effect.
I would def wear it
