Thanks Marc...cool shot. I am really warming up to mine, initially I was concerned it was not "tooly" enough after having so many crono's etc... but it is a very cool combo of many of my faves...I don't think we made a mistake....this one should hold value as well as any.....not the only reason to buy but it sure doesn't hurt-

I spoke about modern Rolexes. As for Vintage, you're absolutely correct. The funny thing with the Explo II so called Steve Mac Queen is that it was not a successful watch, at the beginning of this watch, but you know it better than me( as you're older.. )...

It's a fantastic watch with great wrist presence. The anniversary edition green crystal version is particularly fun and whimsical. I like the white dial Milgauss best myself. Enjoy your new catch! Cheers, Daos
How does the green crystal give off a "retro" feel?
I don't recall seeing a green crystal on any retro watches. To the contrary, it seems to me a modern statement, that might be gimmicky or cool depending on one's point of view.
