THE Basel report for Rolex

Miranda, a superb and thorough report of the Rolex novelties. I have to say, this year has been a treat from Rolex.

As you say, it is the little touches that make a lot of difference. For example, the fact that the GMT has that "soft red"  and "purple tinge" not only makes it distinct. but also (even inadvertently) pays lip service to the vintage version that so often has similar tints.

The bezel markings on the Sea-Dweller....yes, just like a Milsub! Its a small but neat touch.

I have been waiting to hear back from you on your take of things. I am still considering what I like most...I think the GMT stands out, but like you I think I may get sucked into the Sea-Dweller or even the Milgauss....its all about how they feel on the wrist.

Great report....and many thanks

Joe
