i haven't seen the new daytona white yet - which is better (+my preference) than black when i see in pictures..... but i happened to see the daytona black in metal - it is gorgeous, my idea of it changed completely ! sad i couldn't see both next to each o...

They are characteristically so eclectic.

Knowing how much you love the explorer ii - it actually has similar proportions. Wider of coures, but relatively a similar proportion thinness. And adds diver for you, that’s not a sub. You may like this one so much it will be your choice instead of a mod...

I agree. 116500 is a must. I tried the seadweller 50th at a Rolex event and it felt too big. Hope it works on your wrist. Would prefer the batman to all black or pepsi version. Good luck with the journey. Cheers S

I happened to pick up a modern Rolex myself this week while in Rome that was very interesting to me. I'll post about it soon.

Such a great iteration, in my opinion, with only fault being a victim of large size update addiction...

The Daytona is cool too so just buy them all...

Definitely the new Daytona would sit nicely in it. Of the current GMT Masters, the Batman is my favorite. But I suspect that the new Pepsi / Jubilee will be awesome, so worth waiting for. Plus you don't have any modern Rolex on Jubilee, perhaps that's the...

Good reasons for your choices. The Daytona 116500 is must have. A 116520 will do for me too. As for the GMTM, I have handled the blue/black but somehow, there is not much "feel' so it remains a KIV for me. While I did not find the 126710 BLRO to be a big ... 

I’m not a big Daytona fan, but I like that white dialed version a lot.

For me, get the 116500 and the 116710 BLNR and the game is basically over. I’m a big fan of the Air King 116900, which put a big smile on my face whenever I checked out the time.

although I am not a fan of the modern bezels I do like the “Batman” it’s special.

I m a sucker for the 16520 because it is such an easy and comfortable watch. It is nice to see that you follow your own mind on the references and not be taken by all the hype around one specific model. The SD50 is nice but also quite big on the wrist. It... 

I agree on the 16520. And will probably add a black dialed one. In the Neo vintage world, A nice 16750 / 16760 is in my list, as well as a 16700 / 16710. Explorers? I am looking for a 16550 Black Rail Dial, but finding one in great condition is more chall... 

For example, letting several go to get a 6200.
