It's rare to witness Rolex being 'playful'......but an intense study of the 'blue-dial' model of the Milgauss is a welcome contrast to their more 'serious' designs which grace my collection... My original Submariner 1987 Ref 168000 My 40 Rose Gold YachtMa...

But aren't most modern watches with silicon hairsprings and combinations of non- ferrous metals equal to the Milgauss in practice?

The Milgauss line is so special and, in a sense, unique with respect to the rest of the Rolex catalog that I’m sure will always have its fans regardless of its practical use!😄🥂 Enjoy.

I recently saw the use that Breguet has made of anti-magnetic materials with their new 10Hz movement, basically using magnets to keep the balance pivots “floating”, thereby reducing friction and improving accuracy. I was extremely impressed. I don’t know ...
