The letters are yellow gold color. In the new one, they made them wight, I guess for cost saving. Super disappointing imo but great for your version! All the best, Alex

Rolex usually does incremental changes to their models, minor details in many cases so that the model lineage remains evolutionary rather than revolutionary. It’s like taking 2 steps forward and 1 step back, but the latter was more to avoid alienating own... 

I would personally go for the gold letters and the smaller diameter all day long. Enjoy! Alex
