The Zephyr is an interesting intriguing piece not often seen.
They came with two types of bezels and different hand sets.
Here a few shots of mine. Ref 1038 from c. 1969.
Not so wonderful shots as yours dear Nicolas but just to share mine.
Interesting to note the front part of each bracelet link is also gold as you can see in my shot below.

And now, something different: Rolex Zephyr, Ref 1008.
The 1008 was born somewhere in the 50's and was produced till the late 60's, early 70's. Here is a two-tone I could take in picture some weeks ago. On its papers, And now some ads... 34 mm case. They don't do it like this anymore... Best, Nicolas ...

Is that Zephyr original?
That is to say, I don't believe they came with a blue seconds hand, but I could be wrong. Do you know if it is original? Also, did you have a chance to try it on? those bracelets pull hair like it is going out of style!
Yeah. What's also odd is the bezel. The Zephyr has "compass points" where as this one has batons.
A very odd watch for sure.
