that these funds use the auction prices as valuation for their portfolio, thus making their clients happy whether or not they realize that usually 25% is tacked on as commission on top?

.....what i find interesting is that after the auctions, the dealers all argue that they will not pay "auction prices" as these are not realistic selling prices. Yet, on the other hand, many of these dealers represent clients who they act for, actively bu...

While the vintage prices are going up, the new watch sales is going down !! Time for watch companies have to rethink on the issues in front of them ?
