... I can attest that the PT dial does indeed look a zillion times better in person than in photographs.
I've always felt that the stamped bezel cheapened the look of the YM somehow.
Then again, I fully accept that I may be in a minority of one when it comes to this view. ;-) All of that being said -- I certainly enjoy the photos, and your enthusiasm for this one!
