Some months ago, I posted a picture of two holy monsters, the 6542 and the Tudor 7924, side by side, two champions in their respective category, both from exactly the same year ( 1958 ) : But if we want to have a closer approach in terms of aesthetics, th...
The more I delve into the vintage arena, the more I can appreciate these incredible beauties of yours Nicolas. These pics. also seem to bring out the mood and character of these pieces. Bravo my friend! Cheers fernando
I spent two hours this morninig, trying to take pics of a certzin JLC Mark XI, its movement, and I sent all the pics in the bin.... As for these two Rolex pics, luck was on my side. Love, too. Like hunting them... Best, my friend. Nicolas.
Aren't we fortunate with digital cameras these days, comparing with film before? Your 6542 is almost a perfect specimen and the 5508 is the best I've seen( not that I've seen many). I am still trying to learn the lingo for all the terms to describe the ma...
Don't worry too much, with time passing, you will develop a good intuition on what is a fake or not... But it takes time, yes. Best, my friend. Nicolas.
Nicolas, They are stunning your collection of Rolexes. They seem in perfect condition, that or you have a very good camera Its nice to see finally a 100m sub rather than the more common 200m (I have been looking to 100 pictures of Ref 5512 and 5513). Have...

Que disfrutes unas felíces fiestas con tu familia y tus bellos relojes. Por cierto, cuál de todas las bellezas que tienes piensas usar? Yo creo que vestiré mi Panerai 111 Felicidades! René
I come here to drool on vintage , and drool I did with these two specimens. Thanks for the fantastic photos. I have saved them on my hard drive for future reference. Cheers, dreamer
it depends on the serial of the case, I don't think 6542 GMT's from 1958 used to carry lollypop, only white second hands. And the same I think for the 5508, this model never carried lollypop too, even for the early years. Just my opinion. ;-)
