Why the Day-Date speaks to me ....
...when I was a boy, my uncle was a watchmaker who wore and
loved his 1803 more than any other watch he owned. I like the 19019
because of it's rarity- there are very few on them around.
I also have another rare one, a Chocolate Vignette dial YG Day Date,
5.8 million serial, a very seldon seem dial and one of the very earliest
sapphire Day Dates....
A rare Day Date from years ago ....
This is my 19019 white Gold Oyster Quartz Day Date from the mid 80's - My favorite Rolex ...... as of today It retains the original case back sticker .... Thanks for looking !...
