Sorry about your original watch, but the new one is super-handsome and a phenomenal looking example. Hope you're thoroughly enjoying it. I once owned a 1971-era 1675 (with a 3.1m serial). I purchased it in 2009, kept it for 10 years, and then recently sold it.

The replacement for my stolen 1675, bought new in 1973. This one dated to 1971 but has a service dial and hands I believe. ...
Sad to hear about the theft. These stories are being heard way to often. A real shame.
