I also own a Black Monster, mine is from around 2005, and still runs well (despite +1 to 2 minutes a day !), I always wear it when I don't want to bother about my watch, almost indestructible !

The main concern is that a service is wort more than replacing the movement ! But still I will keep it; and will keep on using it.

I had the orange one back in the day. Early 2000s as well. I eventually gave it to my brother who wore the hell out of it. Surprisingly comfortable even on the bracelet.
